Hi I'm a mother of 2 great teenagers, with over 20 year's office management experience in many fields. I then felt like a change and took up a completely different challenge and bought a country pub. That was definitely a different experience I can tell you! However, all the heavy lifting damaged my back and I had to sell up in 2005. Not being one to sit and do nothing I decided to give ecommerce a go and set up Post a Present. It is a gift site for those who are housebound, live in rural areas with no decent shops or are just too busy to shop and it is also aimed at those who live abroad with families in the UK and for men who can't wrap or come up with ideas. I sell a selection of affordable gifts not normally found in local shops and I also offer a giftwrap service at a reasonable cost, so you can have your gift sent direct to the recipient without leaving home. I only charge the postage that I pay and make my delivery charges clear on every page, as I hate those sites that don't tell you the cost until you get to the checkout. I like to support local craftspeople and have just added a small selection of quality handmade cards.
